Coach's Clinic

Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches that are signed up and/or interested in coaching in the NYBL in 2009 must attend the NYBL Coaches Clinic scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 9 am -12 pm at the Novi Civic Center.

Selected coaches from NYBL travel baseball teams, Novi High School, and Total Baseball will instruct coaches on how to teach the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, pitching, infield and outfield play along with practice organization tips and safety tips courtesy of the Novi Fire Department.

Umpire's Clinic

There will be a mandatory umpire clinic for all interested NYBL umpires. Day one of the Umpire's Clinic for all first and second year umpires is Saturday, April 17 from 9 am until 2 pm at the Novi Civic Center. Day Two of the Umpire's Clinic for all umpires is on Sunday, April 18 from 9 am until 2 pm at the Novi Civic Center.  The cost of the clinic is $20.

Candidates must be 12 years old by June 1, 2010. Other details are being finalized and will be posted to this site as soon as they are available. Please contact Doug Harrington, NYBL Chief Umpire, with any questions or concerns.
