Bronco rule exceptions to Pony Baseball and official baseball rules

• There is Mercy Rule 10 runs after 5 innings
• 5’ leadoff from 1st and 2nd base only (trailing foot). No leadoff from 3rd.
• Steal only after the pitch crosses the plate . Cannot start running while pitcher is delivering but do not have to wait for it to hit the catchers glove necessarily.
• No balks, no warnings but lets make sure the pitchers understand if there is something to be learned.
• Steal home only on a passed ball or wild pitch. Home can only be stolen 1x per inning. All other runners can advance one base at their own risk.
• Advance one base only on a pick-off overthrow but cannot advance past 3rd base.
• All other overthrows (including runner stealing 2nd or 3rd)-runners can advance multiple bases but not past 3rdbase.
• Players may ask for time out while ball is in play not coaches.
• Infield fly rule-runners can try to advance at own risk(tag up if ball is caught, no tag if ball is dropped)
• Pitchers must pitch consecutive innings max of 3 innings per game. Pitcher must be removed if he throws 5 walks in one inning. He is removed from pitching for the game.
