2010 Inferno Tournament Teams and Tryouts

The NYBL is pleased to offer an opportunity for a higher level of baseball through the Novi Inferno All Star Tournament Teams. This program supplements the normal house league program by allowing selected house league players to represent the Novi and the NYBL by playing for the Inferno all star tournament team for their specific age. These teams play in a number of weekend tournaments throughout the summer.

Key advantages of the Novi Inferno All Star Program

• Additional development through additional practice an more advanced coaching
• Camaraderie of out of town tournaments with their teammates
• Less time and money commitment than the elite Novi Heat travel program
• Supplements existing house league play

Novi Inferno all star tournament teams are selected via tryouts at the beginning of the season near the house league evaluation dates in April. After team selection, Inferno teams will usually practice once a week and then participate in 3-4 weekend tournaments throughout the summer. Costs for the 2010 season will vary by team, but should be approximately $150 to cover uniforms and tournament fees. All NYBL house league players are eligible to tryout. There is no need for special registration for Inferno…just show up at tryouts!
